Fellowship Opportunities

At St. Peter's Church there are many weekly opportunities for fellowship.  During Sunday morning coffee between the Worship Services and after the ten o'clock service, the members of our faith community gather to share life.  This is also a time to meet and welcome our visitors and newcomers.  We have a number of small groups that meet for Bible study, support, encouragement and fellowship.

Prayer Chain - St. Peter's Church has a prayer chain made up of individuals who relay prayer requests by telephone for those who have special needs.  We invite you to participate by telephoning the church when you or those you love need our prayers.

Sunday School - For young people age 3 - Teens.  10:00 a.m. service, September thru May.

Nursery - A baby sitter is available for babies and pre-school children during the 10:00 a.m. service.

Choirs - Adult choir rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings after the 8:00 a.m. service.

Altar Guild - Prepares the altar for various rites and worship services.  Responsible for care of articles pertaining to church furnishings.

Bible Study - Meets Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in the home of a parishioner.

Daughters of the King - Assists the clergy in whatever way possible for spiritual growth of the parish; available for special prayer requests.

Episcopal Young Churchmen - At least once a month some type of activity is planned by and for the youth, either an outing or an event of some type in the Youth Building.  The young people conduct worship service once a year on Youth Sunday.

Episcopal Church Women - Meetings are held September thru May on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Men's Group - Meetings are held September thru May on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Youth Building.

Vacation Bible - Children ages 4 and up are invited to participate in this summer activity.  Interested adults are encouraged to help with this program.

Fish Fry Schedule - St. Peter's Church hosts five fish fries every summer on the first Thursday of each month, May thru September, in an effort to bring the people of the congregation together in work to provide funds for Outreach and church improvements.
